This Privacy Policy explains how VivaPaws ("VivaPaws", "we", "us", "our")
collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you visit
try-vivapaws.com (the "Site"), place an order, or otherwise interact with us.

    processed directly by our payment processors. We do not store or have
    access to your full payment card number.
  - Customer service information: the content of emails, support requests,
    guarantee claims, photos or documents you send us, and survey responses.

B. Information collected automatically

  - Device and connection data: IP address, browser type and version,
    operating system, device identifiers, language settings.
  - Usage data: pages viewed, referring URL, links clicked, time on page,
    scroll depth, add-to-cart and checkout events, and session recordings
    or heatmaps of your interaction with the Site.
  - Approximate location derived from IP address (city / region level).
  - Cookies, pixels, tags and similar technologies (see Section 4).

C. Information from third parties

  - Advertising and analytics partners, which may provide us with
    aggregated or event-level data about how you reached the Site.
  - Payment processors, which confirm transaction status and fraud signals.
  - Shipping and fulfillment partners, which provide delivery status.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information such as Social
Security numbers, precise geolocation, biometric data, health records, or
information about racial or ethnic origin, religion, or sexual orientation.

  - Operate, maintain, measure and improve the Site and our products.
  - Send marketing communications about our products, offers and content,
    where you have opted in or where otherwise permitted by law.
  - Deliver, measure and optimize advertising, including advertising shown
    to you on third-party platforms.
  - Comply with legal obligations, tax and accounting requirements, and
    enforce our terms.

3. HOW WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION

We do not sell your personal information for money. We do share personal
information with the following categories of recipients:

  - E-commerce platform provider (Shopify), which hosts the Site and
    processes orders on our behalf.
  - Payment processors, which handle payment authorization, settlement and
    fraud screening.
  - Fulfillment, warehousing and shipping partners, including partners
    located outside the United States, which receive the name, shipping
    address, contact details and order contents necessary to pick, pack and
    deliver your order.
  - Email marketing platform (Klaviyo), which stores contact details and
    engagement data to send transactional and marketing emails.
  - Analytics and session-recording providers (Microsoft Clarity, Shopify
    analytics), which receive usage and device data.
  - Advertising partners (Meta Platforms, Inc.), which receive event and
    identifier data as described in Section 4.
  - Professional advisors, accountants and legal counsel, under
    confidentiality obligations.
  - Law enforcement, regulators or other parties where required by law, to
    protect our rights, or in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale
    of assets.

4. ADVERTISING, COOKIES AND TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES

The Site uses cookies, pixels, SDKs, local storage and server-side event
forwarding for the following purposes:

  - Strictly necessary: cart functionality, checkout, security, fraud
    prevention, load balancing.
  - Analytics and performance: understanding how visitors use the Site,
    including session replay and heatmaps via Microsoft Clarity.
  - Advertising and measurement: we use the Meta Pixel and the Meta
    Conversions API. These tools may transmit to Meta Platforms, Inc.
    identifiers such as a hashed version of your email address, your IP
    address, cookie identifiers, and details of actions you take on the
    Site (page views, add to cart, initiate checkout, purchase and purchase
    value). Meta uses this information to attribute conversions, to build
    audiences, and to show you and others advertising across Meta's
    services and partner properties.

Under certain U.S. state privacy laws, our use of advertising and analytics
technologies described above may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of
personal information, or "targeted advertising". You can opt out at any
time — see Section 6.

Your choices:

  - Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings.
    Blocking strictly necessary cookies may break checkout.
  - You can opt out of interest-based advertising through your Meta account
    ad settings, and through industry tools such as the Digital Advertising
    Alliance opt-out page (optout.aboutads.info) or the Network Advertising
    Initiative (optout.networkadvertising.org).
  - You can opt out of Microsoft Clarity data collection at
    https://privacy.microsoft.com.

5. GLOBAL PRIVACY CONTROL

We recognize the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal. If you visit
the Site with GPC enabled, we treat it as a valid request to opt out of the
sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising for that
browser and device. Because the signal is tied to your browser, you will
need to enable it on each browser and device you use.

  - Right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and of
    targeted advertising.
  - Right to data portability, where technically feasible.
  - Right to non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights. We will
    not deny you goods or services, charge you a different price, or provide
    a different level of quality because you exercised a privacy right.
  - Right to appeal a decision we make about your request, where applicable
    under your state's law.

DO NOT SELL OR SHARE MY PERSONAL INFORMATION

To opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information for
cross-context behavioral advertising, email hello@try-vivapaws.com with the
subject line "Do Not Sell or Share", or use the opt-out link available in
the footer of the Site.

HOW TO SUBMIT A REQUEST

Email hello@try-vivapaws.com with the subject line "Privacy Request" and
tell us which right you wish to exercise. To protect your information, we
will ask you to verify your identity, typically by confirming the email
address used to place an order and details of a recent order. We will
respond within 45 days, and may extend that period by an additional 45 days
where permitted, in which case we will notify you.

An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with written proof
of authorization. We may still ask you to verify your identity directly.

7. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS

We operate internationally. Your personal information may be transferred to,
stored in, and processed in countries other than the United States,
including countries whose data protection laws differ from those of your
jurisdiction. Where we transfer personal information across borders, we take
reasonable steps to ensure it remains protected in line with this Policy and
applicable law.

8. EMAIL COMMUNICATIONS

We send two types of emails:

  - Transactional emails (order confirmations, shipping updates, customer
    service replies). These are necessary to your order and cannot be
    opted out of while an order is in progress.
  - Marketing emails, which you receive if you subscribed, placed an order,
    or otherwise opted in. Every marketing email contains an unsubscribe
    link, and we honor unsubscribe requests promptly. You can also email
    hello@try-vivapaws.com to be removed.

9. DATA RETENTION

We retain personal information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes
described in this Policy. In practice:

  - Order and transaction records are retained for as long as required by
    tax, accounting and consumer protection law.
  - Marketing contact data is retained until you unsubscribe or request
    deletion, and for a reasonable period afterward to honor your opt-out.
  - Analytics and advertising event data are retained according to the
    retention settings of the relevant provider.

When personal information is no longer needed, we delete it or aggregate it
so it can no longer be linked to you.

We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical and physical
safeguards to protect personal information, including encryption in transit,
access controls and use of reputable service providers. No method of
transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee

The Site is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly
collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child
